According to a 2018 global survey, miscommunication costs companies more than $37 billion a year. We've all experienced it - errors, missed deadlines, confusion, frustration, rework, and the list goes on.
In this session, you'll learn the principles NASA used to launch their shuttle program and PIXAR uses to create remarkable stories and characters. These insights applied will help you increase your ability to communicate with the many styles you find on any work team. In addition, we'll explore the four channels you need to master as well as the four myths that contribute to team drama and how you can avoid them.

Volunteer Opportunities
VP of Professional Development & Project Manager of Professional Development Day (PDD)
The PMI-CIC Board is currently looking for a VP of Professional Development and a Project Manager for the PDD normally held in the Fall. Both roles should be able to exhibit skills in managing programs, event schedules, content and curriculum development.
For more information visit our site or PMI VRMS #30256 & #30346.
We are only as good as our members and our leadership. To keep the chapter moving forward, we need you to consider a position on the board. Volunteering requires a commitment of time and effort, but in addition to great personal satisfaction and providing a way to exercise your leadership skills, volunteering also provides a great way for PMPs to maintain their certification.
