President's Report

Happy Spring PMI-CIC!

Spring is in the air and the world around us is changing at a rapid pace.  Spring normally brings inconsistent weather that affects schedules and timelines, changes in social itineraries as the warm weather allows us to get outside, and additional work that comes with warmer weather such as mowing the grass.  Each of these things in their own right can take up space in your life that you now are working through new and competing priorities. In addition, the world is waking up from a pandemic state and companies everywhere are returning to a business as usual state and reviewing their own priorities and strategic approaches.

In the last month I have started working through Tom Wujec and PMI's Wicked Problem Solving course.  This hands-on self-paced course and toolkit that provides guidance, processes, and examples on how to efficiently solve your most wicked problems.  As our world changes and our companies towards the future as Changemakers and Project Professionals we need to be at the ready with tools that will support the work of our organization.

I challenge you to join in me taking Wicked Problem Solving in the next couple months and engage with me on Social Media on your own Lessons Learned.  Sign up for the course now Here and use the code ACTFASTWPS20 to save 20%.

Sincerely,

Pamela Clapp, PMP, CLSSGB, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner
