CxO Public – Private Sector Discussion Summit, How We Pivoted Amidst Covid-19

Our event goal: To foster communication, learn from each sector best practices around strategies to mitigate constraints imposed by Covid-19, along with enabling organizations to be future-ready

Abstract: Technology improvements are accelerating, customer needs and wants are changing, customers and employees health and welfare are paramount, plus organizations are struggling to survive amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.Our aim is to provide a platform to learn from each sector's strategies implemented (and to be implemented) at their organization, around how to meet today's and short term challenges. We hope to cover the following topics independent and agnostic of OEM, platform, operating system, among others.

• Data and Application Security
• Digitalization of Customer Experience, eg, in IT Service Management

1) Laszlo Gonc, Moderator

Bio: Laszlo has been a long supporter of Project Management Institute local chapters, then Chicagoland and now Central Illinois Chapter. He is a practicing Chief Information Security Officer and CEO of Next Era Transformation Group. He is an Advisor to Boards & C-Suite, a National Keynote Speaker, a Writer  and a Lecturer. He is a founding member and Senior Fellow at DivIHN Center of Excellence for Digital Security, Co Founder for Society of Information Management National DigiRisk SIG, and holds numerous leadership roles in other organizations. His Compliance core competencies are: HIPAA/HITECH, HITRUST, PCI, ISO27001/2, NIST/DFARS, COBIT, COSO, ITIL

2) Kevin Lovell, Panelist #1

Bio: Lt. Col. (Retired) Kevin J. Lovell is currently a consultant in KPMG’s Advisory Practice in Project, Program, and Portfolio Management Service. He has held leadership and management roles on three continents in facility design, construction, management, and process optimization during a 25-year Army and civilian career. He holds the PgMP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Scaled Agile Framework Scrum Master credentials. Kevin graduated from Marquette University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Maryland Global Campus with an MS in Management, and from the US Army’s Command and General Staff College. His passions are helping clients address challenging situations, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and developing his teammates’ skills so they achieve their goals.
