We all know that adopting Agile is critical in today’s ever-changing project landscape. But given Agile’s emphasis on in-person team collaboration, what happens when we are no longer in the same room?  Not to fear –  the speakers will share with you how to successfully keep up the collaborative “magic” in the virtual environment.

About the Presenters:

Marie Spark, MBA, PMP, CSM is the director of the project management graduate program at Golden Gate University in San Francisco and is an active leader for the PMI San Francisco Bay Area. She has 5 years of experience with teaching, instructional design and student collaboration online. She came to academics following a career in project and quality management in banking, technology and nonprofits. Her passion is to empower adult learners to their careers. 

Marie Sparks enables adult learners to achieve their goals, leveraging her experience in project management, IT, financial services at Bank of America, IBM Global Services, & nonprofits. Currently, she is the Project Management Program Director and Lecturer at Golden Gate University in the San Francisco Bay area.

Lorena DeBenedittis, MS Project Management just completed leading the redesign of Golden Gate University’s Agile class for the virtual environment in her role of teaching assistant.  An honors graduate of GGU’s graduate project management program, DeBenedittis now applies her skills as staff for the school’s marketing department. She has continually been a leader with the PMI SF Bay Area Chapter, most recently as Board Secretary.  Her original background was in design and urban planning. In her native Italy, she previously had earned an MA in Design and Visual Communication MA in Urban Regeneration.
