A Mall Map to the PMBOK VI – PMBOK VI Guide and the Agile Practice Guide, a powerful duo that drives YOUR project to successful outcomes.

This presentation will provide aspiring and practicing PMP’s a guide to understanding the changes in knowledge, process and PMBOK Guide structure from the ‘old’ 2013 PMBOK V to the new PMBOK VI release.

PMI released PMBOK VI on 9/6/2017; PMP testing will move to the new content on 3/26/2018.

PMBOK VI represent a multi-year effort by 11 core committees directing an international team of 553 volunteers.  The 587 page PMBOK V has been upgraded to PMBOK part 1 (538 pages); PMBOK part 2 (218 pages); PMBOK Part 3 (118 pages) and a new sister volume called the Agile Practice Guide (168 pages).

While the content is impressive, changes to the PMBOK knowledge areas and processes are reasonable, and can be readily understood by practicing PMP’s.
