Title: Director of Retention and Growth

Location: Central IL

Start Date: 6/1/2018

Chapter Membership is required, with mainly in-person interaction.

I estimate the time commitment to be 6 to 12 hours a month.


Reporting to the VP of Membership, the Director of Retention and Growth will lead and manage the basic services to the membership of the chapter in addition to recommending opportunities for member retention, growth, and engagement. 


  • Sending welcome letters and renewal letters
  • Send survey's to members not renewing
  • With VP of Membership come up with campaigns to use our membership codes
  • Engagement with Chapter Members
  • Formalize a new Member Welcome Program and networking events
  • Create and have events with VP of membership for new Members
  • Develop programs to limit member attrition and encourage member growth with VP of Membership.
  • Oversee recognition of years of membership with the VP of Membership
  • Provide monthly reports to VP of Membership with feedback and stats



  • Feedback, and Stats from executed activities.
  • Retention, and Growth Activity plan that will be executed throughout the year.


This person also needs to have a computer they can use. The ability to learn the PMI systems and Star Chapter. Able to manipulate Excel. I would also like to person to write up something for me to look at and decide who would be a good candidate to proceed with.
